Jedburgh RBLS Pipe Band

Jedburgh Royal British Legion (Scotland) Pipe Band

Initially formed in 1943 as the Jedburgh Pipe Band led by Pipe Major Walker, it then changed in later years to be known as now well established Jedburgh RBLS Pipe Band; currently led by Pipe Major Tosh MacDonald

The Pipe Band has a varied repertoire ranging from playing in the Montmartre Parade in Paris, on Sword Beach, Normandy for the D-Day memorial parade & the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.

More recently the Pipe Band had the honour of piping out the Scotland rugby team onto the pitch at the Stade de France for the France/Ecosse 6 nations rugby in March 2013.

The Pipe Band is a voluntary group of musicians made up of members of all ages ranging from the youngest at 12 to the eldest at 72 years. We aim to encourage people of all ages to integrate with the community by providing & promoting pipe music at various events throughout the year & also being a good ambassador for the town of Jedburgh.
