Jed-Forest Rugby Club

Jed-Forest Rugby Football Club are a rugby union team who are based at Riverside Park in Jedburgh.  One of the world's oldest and most famous clubs, the team was founded in 1885 and currently play in BT National League Division 1 and the Border League (the oldest established rugby union league in the world).

The club hosts an annual 7’s tournament around May of each year, which is traditionally the last of the Kings of The 7s Tournaments. This always guarantees an exciting end to the season with the winner of the series often not known until after our final.

Jed-Forest RFC also have a “Touch Rugby” club. Our Touch Rugby fitness sessions run every Wednesday 6:30pm till 7:30pm unless otherwise advised via our Facebook page

The sessions are for ladies and gents, fat and thin, tall and short, bald and hairy.........

Some of the notable players for the club are Greig and Roy Laidlaw, Gary Armstrong and David M Rose who all got Scottish caps.

Riverside Park is also the home of “Riverside Rock”, The Scottish Borders Premier Music Festival. Riverside Rock has something for everyone young and old....

The event includes children's entertainment of all kinds combined with Rock and Traditional Bands from across the borders and further afield. Riverside Rock must not be missed, the Scottish Borders very own music festival at Riverside Park, Jedburgh 18th June 2016.
